Ryan P. Garrity

Ryan joined BTS in January of 2017 and continues to be a student of the personal insurance business, more specifically the High-Net-Worth Insurance Market. Ryan came to us with a strong insurance background after serving clients in both the Commercial and Personal Lines arenas. After a 17-year career as PGA Professional, Ryan began his insurance career path at an agency located in South Florida. 

After returning to CT in 2013, he transitioned over to personal lines at Rand Insurance in Riverside, CT as a Private Client Group Advisor. In 2018, Garrity earned a CAPI (Certified Advisor of Personal Insurance) designation via The Aresty Institute at the Wharton School, and in 2017 he received one of the first 150 CPRIA designations from the Private Risk Managers Association. 

Ryan manages all Cross Private Client locations and was responsible for its growth into Ridgefield and South Florida. He was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, graduated from Allegheny College in 1995, and lives in Darien with his wife Pamela and their four children. 

In 2021, Ryan joined the Darien Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and in 2020 he served on the Darien Board of Education, Long Term Strategic Planning Committee.
