About

Alan began his insurance career after graduating as an insurance major at CCNY, Baruch School of Business.  He realized he had “book experience”, but saw the need for practical experience, and subsequently became an insurance adjuster, handling property and yacht claims.  This experience would later help him in assisting insureds when a major claim occurs. 

Alan credits the experienced associates he works with for providing exceptional service to each client that they serve.

During his long career as an insurance broker, Alan has served on insurance companies advisory panels (oftentimes serving as chairperson). He received the Fred E. Hamilton Award for service to the insurance industry and community, and also served as president of the Life Underwriters Association of Westchester.

Locally, Alan has been involved in many community activities  – serving as a Cub Scout leader, President of the Westchester Jewish Center, chairperson of the UJA/Federation local chapter, president of the River Oaks Homeowner’s Association, cruise chair of the Stamford Yacht Club and volunteering as a driver for patients’ medical appointments

In his spare time, Alan enjoys sailing, skiing and jogging. Alan is married to Laurel. The have four children and six grandchildren.
